Ohio Elite Soccer Academy Appoints Chris Black as Girls Director of Coaching
Ohio Elite Soccer Academy (OESA), a leading youth soccer organization committed to
excellence in player development, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Black as its
new Girls Director of Coaching. With his extensive experience and proven track record in player
development, Black is set to lead OESA in its mission to cultivate talented young athletes and
promote the growth of soccer in the region.
Chris Black brings over 15 years of coaching expertise and a deep passion for the game to his
new role at Ohio Elite Soccer Academy. He has successfully mentored and developed young
players at both the grassroots, college and professional levels, earning a reputation for his
ability to nurture talent and inspire success. Black's holistic approach to coaching aligns
perfectly with OESA's commitment to providing a well-rounded soccer experience that focuses
on technical skills, tactical understanding, and character development.
As the Girls Director of Coaching, Chris Black will oversee the ECNL Program and all aspects of
player development and coaching methodology at Ohio Elite Soccer Academy. Black has a
USSF B License, USC Premier Diploma and Coaches Director Diploma. He worked for Kings
Hammer Academy for the last nine years, most recently as its Academy Director/ECNL Director.
He has extensive experience at both the club and college level. As a player, Black was a 4-year
starter at University of Findlay.

Black replaces longtime Girls Director of Coaching, Doug Bracken who will be moving into the
newly created role of Director of Coaching Development for the club.
